FERROUS METALS

Our recycled ferrous metals provide a sustainable and economical option for the manufacturing and construction industries, ensuring high-quality materials that support environmental sustainability. These metals are meticulously processed to meet the rigorous demands of various applications, offering durability and reliability.

Overview:
Ferrous metals are those containing iron such as:
> Nickel
> Steel
> Iron itself
Ferrous metals are often magnetic but this is not a defining characteristic.

Classification of Ferrous Metals:
Processed steel 201 is 1m * 1m
Unprocessed steel is any size larger than 1m*1m
Sub Grade is steel thinner than 2mm eg roof sheeting (IBR), car bodies and drums

NON-FERROUS METALS

Our non-ferrous metal offerings are specifically chosen for their superior non-magnetic properties and exceptional resistance to corrosion, making them indispensable for a wide range of industrial uses. Each metal is sourced and processed with precision, catering to the specific needs of industries such as electronics, automotive, and construction.

Overview:
> Contains metals without significant iron content.
> More expensive than ferrous metals.
> Used for desirable properties like low weight (e.g.aluminium), higher conductivity (e.g. copper), non-magnetic properties, and corrosion resistance (e.g.zinc).
> Used in iron and steel industries.

Illegal Metals – We do not buy any metals from the following parastatals:
> Eskom
> Telkom
> Railway
> Municipality

SCRAP BATTERIES

Our approach to scrap battery recycling embodies our commitment to environmental stewardship, preventing hazardous materials from contaminating landfills while efficiently recovering valuable components for repurposing. This process underscores our dedication to innovative recycling techniques and the circular economy.

Overview:
Most types of batteries can be recycled, however some batteries are recycled more readily than others, such as:
> Lead-acid
> Automotive batteries
